Painted… but drawn

This font sketch is roughly based on the lettering of a polish railroad com­panys “WARS” logo. It’s not called like this, since it doesn’t reflect, whats in the shapes.
The original logo is made in a strange signpainter style, not really painted but drawn, very irregular and vivid. I liked the idea of brush strokes in dif­ferent angles and widths, it worked fairly well.
